Suitability is more than a brand label
An original-equipment part is not automatically proof that the complete repair is correct, and a non-OEM part is not automatically unsuitable. Confirm the exact application, construction, sensor zone, bracket geometry and manufacturer repair requirements.
Windscreens and cameras
Optical quality, curvature, tint, coatings, heating elements, camera viewing area and bracket position may matter. Use the correct adhesive and curing process, then complete the specified inspection, calibration or verification.
Bumpers, grilles and radar
Material, thickness, paint, filler, repair method and objects in front of radar can affect transmission. Sensor brackets and locating features must restore the specified position. Do not assume a successful routine validates an unsuitable cover or distorted mounting.
Brand-specific work
Manufacturers—and models within one brand—use different sensors, targets, scan functions and prerequisites. Build coverage by exact procedure rather than memorising a single “Toyota”, “Hyundai” or “Tesla” method.
